Indeed, sevenof the 10 best-selling vehicles so far this year are small cars or sedans that get high gas mileage. But when gas prices go up and the economy heads south,"buyers shift.....from what they want to what they need," says Jeff Bartlett.The F-150 attracted 473,933 buyers this year, making it the No. 1-selling vehicle for 2008--it's been the best-selling vehicle in America for 27 years running.

Mount Everest


Mount Everest is the highest mountain on Earth. It is located in China and India. It is also called the Sagarmatha or Chomolunga. Do you Think Mountains Grow?? Well Mount Everest grows a quater of an inch every year.The mountain, which is part of the Himalaya range in High Asia, is located on the border between Sagamartha Zone, Nepal, and Tibet, China. The highest mountain in the world attracts climbers of all levels, from well experienced mountaineers to novice climbers willing to pay substantial sums to professional mountain guides to complete a successful climb. The mountain, while not posing substantial technical climbing difficulty on the standard route. When i grow up i will love to go climb Mount Everest.

The First Flight




On this date Orville Wright piloted the first powered airplane 20 feet above a wind-swept beach in North Carolina. the flight lasted 12 seconds and covered 120 feet. Three more flights were made that day with Orville's brother Wilbur piloting the record flight lasting 59 seconds over a distance of 852 feet.
